Sinead and Stathis

Ceremony: Immaculate Heart of Mary, Sefton
Portraits: The Rocks, Sydney
Reception: 6Head, The Rocks

Sinead and Stathis celebrated their love and tiny family with a private micro-wedding at the stunning Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in Sefton. The couple looked breathtaking as they exchanged vows in this beautiful church surrounded by only their closest family members.

After the ceremony, we took portraits of the newlyweds around The Rocks in Sydney, stopping at alleyways, markets, and unique spots to capture the beauty of this special place. Sinead had mentioned to me that this was their home-away-from-home and led me through the area expertly. Even though the wedding was kept private, a few people on the streets of The Rocks recognized the couple and excitedly screamed their congratulations.

After the portraits, the couple dined with their immediate family at 6head in The Rocks. I couldn’t resist a last few snaps as the vibrant and colorful decor of the restaurant created a lively and festive atmosphere that perfectly complemented the joyous pair.

As a wedding photographer, I usually find myself drawn to warm and rustic venues, but it was refreshing to mix things up with a more modern and colorful approach. Overall, it was an honor to capture the love and joy of Sinead and Stathis’s special day and to be a part of their beautiful love story.
