Even though the wedding of Louise and Dave was small and intimate, there was so much love and warmth in the building.
With sprinkles and wind gusts looming over the planned courtyard ceremony, the decision was made to move to the indoor and newly renovated lounge area at the restaurant of the Mercure in Gerringong. Louise was escorted down the aisle by her mum, who wore a custom-made vintage inspired dress, which complemented Louise’s own 50’s style ensemble perfectly.
The highly personalised ceremony was run by the amazing Shoshanna from Curator of Love Stories. By the end of it I felt like I had known Louise and Dave for the whole lives instead of just the months we’d met. The bright and sunny space highlighted the warmth between those present.
Rather than risk soggy shoes muddy trains at their chosen portraits location along Seven Mile Beach National Park, we also opted to take those around the Mercure, getting creative with some of the gorgeous spots around the resort and turning every feature into an opportunity for more shots.
